I am studying at Level 4 to be a counsellor alongside working as a photographer, so I understand the financial demands of personal therapy, supervision, course fees, etc as well as the need to have some headshots that look professional and show your personality.

For this reason, I have streamlined my headshot packages in order to offer a special reduced rate for trainee counsellors. If you book and mention COUNSELLOR RATES, I would be pleased to offer a 15-minute studio session in Surbiton and two edited digital images for £50. Normal headshot sessions cost £95 for a 30-minute shoot and three edited digital images.

15 minutes is still plenty of time to put you at ease and to get a good variety of shots. It is also time to have a change of top and glasses on/off to give you as much variety as possible.

How does it work?

Shoots take place in my garden studio in Surbiton. We will have a quick chat about your requirements and then I will start taking photos of you. We can do some sitting and some standing, however you feel most comfortable, and I will offer some gentle prompts about posing along the way. Importantly, I will show you the photos as we go along so that you can see what you like or don’t like. I have found that clients relax when they see that they look good in the photos and that’s when we tend to get the best, most relaxed photos that show their personality. After the shoot, I will upload a selection of unedited photos to a password-protected gallery so that you can narrow down your choices which I will then edit so that you can choose your final two. Should you wish to buy additional digital images they are £20 each. I keep all shoots backed up, so you can buy other photos from your shoot at a later date should you wish.
